Elite Classic Alpaca Auction

At 9pm the Saturday evening dinner held in the Ludlow suite at the Telford International Centre will host the British Alpaca Society Elite Alpaca Auction, run by Harrison and Hetherington Auctioneers (H&H).

High class alpacas have been carefully selected to take part in this year’s. They have been rigorously scrutinised to bring to the industry the highest standards in regard to health, quality and breeding.

Each alpaca listed below will be presented at the dinner at approximately 9pm, where it will be auctioned by H&H Auctioneers. Bidders are welcome to attend in person and have dinner (booking essential) or arrive during the evening for a drink at the bar and to inspect the lots.

In addition to the elite alpacas listed below, there will be an opportunity for wild card entries to be offered to qualifying exhibitors who are successful at the show on Saturday and wish to have their alpaca auctioned that evening. Stewards from the show will approach the exhibitors of the suitable alpacas until two are accepted.

All alpacas will be available for viewing in pens outside of the Ludlow suite, located in the Telford International Centre from 6pm and the alpacas listed below will be available for inspection throughout the day on Saturday via the exhibitor pens. Please look out for the flags above the exhibitor pens to locate the auction alpacas on the day.

Please note that all alpacas in the auction will have undergone a standard Armitage In-Livestock veterinary examination prior to the auction and all are registered with the British Alpaca Society. All alpacas in the auction are subject to the pre-movement bTB Enferplex test via Surefarm and this will be carried out by the seller before collection by the buyer.

METHOD AND ORDER OF SALE:  All alpacas will be sold in guineas (105 pence) and in catalogue order, unless any alteration is authorised and announced by the Auctioneers. Buyers must have a bidders number.

VALUE ADDED TAX:  All Lots subject to VAT

CONDITIONS OF SALE: The sale is held subject to the Auctioneer’s General terms and Conditions of Sale (printed in this catalogue)

WARRANTIES: The Auctioneers and Vendors accept no liability for any damage, injury or loss to persons, animals or property whilst attending the sale.

DISCLAIMER:  All stock is sold as seen and no responsibility are assumed by any vendor or the Auctioneers in respect of the condition of any animal or in respect of any information provided on an animal.

BUYERS SLIP:  completion of a buyers slip is essential for parties who have not dealt with the company before.

PAYMENT AND STOCK CLEARANCE:  Full payment of stock to be made either by banker’s draft, certified cheque or debit card and clearance can only by affected after confirmation of payment.

INSURANCE:  Facilities will be available from Armitage In-Livestock (trading name of H&H Insurance Brokers) for buyers to insure their animals, for transit and other risks from the fall of the hammer.
