The National Fleece Show is taking on a new format this year, celebrating the Champions and Reserves from all the Regional Alpaca Shows in 2019 to find the overall Supreme Champions for the 2019 Season.

The fleeces will be judged in colour classes ie Black, Brown, Fawn, Light and White, in both Huacaya and Suri. AAFT will kindly be testing the fleeces – Thank you. The Fleeces will be on display in the Main Arena at the International Centre over the weekend.

Fleeces eligible for entry will have been notified prior to the Entry Open Date unless they are in the Winter Fleece Show.

Entries are made via Manage your Own Herd; Show Entries; in the Registry Section of the BAS Website. The only difference when entering is that there are no age categories, just the colour and type eg Black Huacaya, White Suri etc. Huacaya classes start with 6 and Suri with 7. Please remember to enter shearing date and previous shearing dates.

Fleeces need to be delivered to Julia Corrigan-Stuart, CS Alpacas, Yeat Wood Farm, Wotton Underwood, Bucks HP18 0RL.

Please pack your fleece in an unmarked clear plastic bag with the entry sheet that is produced when you make your online entry. Please also include any sashes attributed to the alpaca from the 2019 season, for display purposes.

Fleeces can be collected from Telford International Centre at the end of the Halter Show on 28/3/2020. If you would like your fleeces returned please indicate as much, when sending/delivering them and include a return address label. You will be invoiced for the postage after they have been returned.
