BAS National Show Gala Dinner

Following feedback from previous years, the BAS National Show Gala Dinner will be a relaxed, less formal evening in the Olive Tree restaurant (within the Holiday Inn, Telford). There will be a choice of good food, a drink on arrival and entertainment provided by singer Joshua Reeve, before and after dinner. A great opportunity to relax after the day’s show for a fun evening with fellow alpaca breeders!  Please reserve your tickets soon as places are limited!

Timings:

7.30pm                 Drinks Reception

(Your ticket will entitle you to a complimentary drink of your choice from the range provided)

8.00pm                  Gala Dinner

 

Your menu options are as follows

Starters:

Balsamic roasted onion tatin, wild rocket, walnut & Pecorino salad (OT)

Baked goat’s cheese & sun blushed tomato tart, balsamic reduction (GC)

Ham hock terrine, toasted brioche & piccalilli (HT)

Prawn, crab & smoked salmon salad, citrus chive dressing (SS)

Mains:

Roast Cherrington Farm beef, duck fat roasted chateau potatoes, homemade Yorkshire pudding, red wine jus (B)

Roasted rump of lamb, minted potato cake, pea puree & rosemary gravy (L)

Corn-fed breast of chicken, Cheddar mash, red wine jus (C)

Three pea risotto & Parmesan Crisp (R)

Dessert:

Rich dark & white chocolate raspberry tart (CH)

Sticky toffee pudding, butterscotch sauce & vanilla custard (ST)

Apple trio – Pannacotta, tarte tatin & toffee apple ice cream (AT)

Tea / coffee & confectionery

Tickets are £42.50 + VAT per person

All tickets will be available for collection from the Reception desk located next to the show ring in the Telford International Centre during the show hours on Saturday 24 March (9am – 5pm)

  • Booking for BAS members is via the “manage your herd” section of the BAS website, where you can select your menu options (please use the codes next to each selection above) and pay for your tickets.
  • Not a BAS member? No problem!  Just send an e-mail to secretary@bas-uk.com or

  • The tables vary in size, if you have any requests in relation to seating, we will do our best to try and accommodate you. Please email nationalshow@bas-uk.com in the first instance.

 

There is a separate menu for children under 12, tickets for which are £21.25 + VAT

Starters: Heinz Tomato soup with bread roll or Melon boat served with a drizzle of fruit coulis or Forest berry fruit smoothie

Mains:  Roast Cherrington Farm beef, duck fat roasted chateau potatoes, homemade Yorkshire pudding, pan gravy or Corn-fed breast of chicken, Cheddar mash, pan gravy or Fish goujons served with mash potato and baked beans

Dessert:  Chocolate Fudge cake with vanilla ice cream or Sticky toffee pudding, butterscotch sauce & vanilla custard or Trio of ice creams
