Description
Softfoot Koo Wee Rup brings different and elite brown bloodlines in to the UK that can support your leap forward in quality of frame and fibre. Imported from Australia in 2018, Koo Wee Rup is a proven sire with an impeccable show record and his progeny are now demonstrating the qualities he brings in the UK show rings with numerous colour championships and now a Supreme champion.
Whilst not the largest male, his impact can be massive. Conformationally he is everything one would wish for in a leading sire; he is strong with straight legs, has great solidity, volume and substance to his frame and he looks the part. His fleece is very fine and dense, is bright, and importantly shows consistent uniformity in both character, colour and micron across his blanket and well in to his extremities. These traits are being passed on to his progeny who benefit not only from that consistency and uniformity, but importantly his longevity of fineness - his 10th fleece tested at 21.3 micron and 3.8 SD with a CEM of 7.7. At 10 years! His second fleece was tested at 16.7 micron and 2.9 SD.
With such a high quality pedigree and a depth of colour through the dam, Softfoot Koo Wee Rup is making a very clear mark through the quality of his progeny who we believe will go on to have a huge impact here in the UK. Koo Wee is capable of producing the highest quality progeny in all colours - whites, lights, fawns, browns and blacks - just take a look at show results for progeny in 2023 shows!
Softfoot Koo Wee Rup is jointly owned by Limestone Alpacas and Chinchero Alpacas. He will available for a limited number of outside stud services in 2024.
