Description
Van Diemen Storm of Inca has recently been imported into the UK from our specialist grey breeding herd in Australia.
He is a very strong herd sire who exhibits great substance of bone, fibre coverage and striking presence.
His fleece is very elite and one of the most advanced fleeces we have ever seen. At 15 micron at 18 months of age and 22 microns at 5 Storm is certainly fine. Each staple is small and is made up of well aligned fibres that are bright uniform in micron and densely compacted. Storm grows a long staple and his colour is very uniform right over his entire body.
For three years Storm dominated the show ring in Tasmania winning supreme champion fleece many times beating all other whites.
His crias are now growing up well and exhibit fine long stapled fleeces that are also uniform in colour.
We welcome Van Diemen Storm of Inca into our stable of herd sires as we see him as an essential part of our black and grey breeding programme.
