Entries to the Sires Progeny Classes for 2018 can be made one of two ways:

  1. The sires can be entered into the Halter Class competition in the normal way.  ie via the Member’s Section on the BAS website. These can be additional to your block booking and the sires details will appear in the show catalogue.
  2. Sires can be entered at the show, via the reception desk next to the show ring, up until 12 noon on Saturday the 24th of March and by the owner(s) of the sire only.

The four sires progeny classes include:

Three progeny by one sire – Light – Suri and Huacaya

Three progeny by one sire – Dark – Suri and Huacaya

All dams progeny classes (classes 191 and 291) MUST be entered into the Halter Class competition in the normal way,  ie via the Member’s Section on the BAS website. These are included as part of your block booking, so that the dams details will appear in the show catalogue. An example is, you have 6 block booking spaces, 5 alpacas to be entered and 1 space would be for the dam entering into class 191 or 291. Please remember that the progeny qualifying for the dam’s progeny class must be entered into their own respective class as well.

Two progeny by one dam – Light – Suri and Huacaya

Two progeny by one dam – Dark – Suri and Huacaya
